PDPH is a cleavable, heterobifunctionalprotein crosslinking reagent. The PDPH crosslinker's hydrazide groupselectively reacts with oxidized carbohydrates (or carboxyls when used with EDC);while the pyridinyldisulfide moiety is reactive toward reduced thiols. Thus,PDPH protein crosslinker is an excellent choice for crosslinking glycoproteinsand other polysaccharides.
